Schedule B Form 1099 INT

I am being asked to check an entry from a financial institution about Schedule B.  The only form I received from this Financial institution is a 1099R. I do not have state (line 14)  or Local (line 17) tax withheld. Those are blank.  So how do I answer this question?

Entries on Schedule B would be from interest or dividend income. They would be reported on form 1099-INT or 1099-DIV. If you didn't enter either of those, you can see if there is one in your program in error and if so delete it.

Follow these instructions:

1. Choose the Tax Tools option on your left menu bar while working on your return

2. Choose Tools

3. Choose the Delete a form option under Other Helpful links

4. Find the Form 1099-INT or 1099-DIV in the list and delete it
