Reporting stock

I have a stock valued at <$150 dividends are <$10. I do not have a 1099-DIV from the company. Do I need to report this?

Yes, you need to report it.  The IRS says all income is taxable and you need to report it on your income tax return.

Even though you didn't receive form 1099-DIV, enter the dividends as if you received form 1099-DIV.

  1. Type 1099-DIV in the search box and click search.
  2. Click on the Jump to 1099-DIV in the results box.
  3. Continue with the onscreen interview until complete.

All income should be reported.

There are no dividends paid. Stock received from spinoff in lieu of cash payment. I was trying to confirm that stock income of less than $10 does not needed to be reported... e.g. not 1099-div not required.

Yes, report it. Depending on your regular income there may be other implications,  The capital gains reporting threshold is simple to understand, in that you must report all capital sales no matter how small the gain or loss.They may not send you a 1099;
