Rejected d/t Spouse AGI

We filed separately 2022 but jointly in 2023. Tried the following

1) Called Turbo Tax had agent share screen with me, and helped me change AGI from 0 to the AGI on TurboTax 2022 form line 11. Didn’t work

2) Called Turbo Tax again, agent also shared screen we entered same AGI amount but this time before filing, selected option that spouse didn’t file previous year(which was a lie but wanted to try as it had worked for someone else on a previous post) Didn’t work

3) went to irs.gov created account for spouse (be prepared to take pics of front and back of drivers license & a video selfie) and they had a totally different AGI than the one on Turbo Tax 1040 line 11.

went back to Turbo Tax to fix rejected return entered correct amount and it was approved in a matter of minutes!

Goodluck everyone!

glad it worked for you. That would mean that someone had edited the return after they filed last year as TT just retains the last saved file.
