Refund advance

When I get ready to file it usually asks me about the refund advance but this year it didn’t ask. I’m wondering is it still to early? Or do I need to wait until February 12th to file for it to ask me about the advance? I’m getting a refund of 9,000 back.

The loan has to be offered to you --- you cannot apply for it.   If you have already e-filed it is too late.

 

LOANS

TurboTax is offering refund advance loans to those who qualify.  If you qualify the loan is offered at the time that you file your tax return.

You do not get the money until the 2020 e-file has been ACCEPTED by the IRS.You also have to agree to receive your refund on a new prepaid TurboTax Visa.

The IRS will begin to accept/reject 2020 returns on February 12, 2021
