Recaptcha error on import

Import won’t work on Win 11 desktop version. Recaptcha tries to open, but it has “Error:For site owner…” message with no check box. Does this with multiple financial institutions.

Very doubtful if any of the TurboTax import partners are ready with the 2024 financial forms.  Those are usually available starting in mid-February.

At least two of my banks are.

Same issue.  Tried with two different institutions, both of whom have forms available for download / import.  This is an issue with Turbotax.  They have a problem with their ReCaptcha API key.

Please continue to post here and call the support line, as they will not fix unless people continue to complain.

I wish. There has been a major issue with importing from Ally Bank for 5 years or more and TT still doesn’t even understand the problem.

I am having the same problem when I try to import mutual fund 1099-R from Vanguard: ERROR for site owner: Invalid site key with ReCaptcha dialog with no checkbox.

Same issue here, when trying to import from my Marcus and Ally bank. The tax forms are ready and I triple checked.

As DoninGA mentioned above, 1099-B's and "composite" forms containing such are likely not available yet, but some people have 1099-INT/DIV/R available.

As for the ReCaptcha issue, the following may not help any, but it's easy to try.    Those using Windows desktop version, are you signed into your Intuit Account inside the TurboTax program interface while you're trying to import?    If you aren't, then see if signing in makes a difference.  Go to the top menu bar of the desktop program interface, and in the upper left corner click on FILE, and in the dropdown menu click on "Sign In".   Then see if that made any difference with the ReCaptcha issue when you try to import.

Seems the latest update resolved it. I was able to import the data for the accounts that are ready.

I'm on the latest release and I'm still getting the error when importing Vanguard 1099s.

I have the same error.  Even after signing on to Intuit

I can't import 1099s from Ally or Vanguard.  I keep getting the same ReCAPTCHA error as other folks.

I assume this is a TT issue since folks are having the problem with multiple financial institutions.
TT Support: PLEASE FIX!

I spoke with customer support.  The technical team is aware of the issue and are working on a solution.  No ETA.  I recommended that they post a message here.

I have same problem with importing documents from Vanguard.  Desktop version. message;  Error for site owner.  Invalid site key.  Gotcha etc.  We have all of our 1099 documents from 2024 tax year from Vanguard, and none of those documents could be imported on Turbo Tax premium.   Yes, I have Windows 11.

Intuit service team tried to help me today 1/30/25 to no avail.  Regards Beat2
