Re: MCTMT in the NYS program

I have Zone 1 and Zone 2 income and I am allocating my income.  It is not letting me enter the just under $50,000 X .0060 on line 2 for ZONE 1. It picked up the ZONE 2 income X.0034 and did the math itself and put on LINE 4.  It is BLOCKING my putting in the figure for ZONE 1.  Is there a $50,000 exemption maybe?  I can't complete the return because I don't know if it is a problem with the program, or I don't pay tax on that amount for some reason.  HELP!!!!????

The .6% rate for MCTMT applies to taxpayers with over $50,000 in net earnings from self employment. Since your Zone 1 income was under this threshold, no tax will be due.
