Pending

E filed my taxes thru Turbo tax on Jan 4 turbo tax says it will be accepted by Jan 6 still in pending status. Has anyone else filed and have had there efile accepted by the IRS.

Your e-filed tax return will remain in a pending state until the IRS starts pulling 2019 tax returns from the TurboTax servers on or after January 27, 2020

You will receive an email from TurboTax when the IRS either accepts or rejects your tax return.

I efiled both fed and state on 2/11/2020 and both returns are showing pending. I efiled my son's return yesterday and it has already been accepted. I have never had this happen, I am having a legitimate concern that there is an issue.

Pending just means that IRS has not started processing your tax return yet. Timing for this processing varies from individual to individual. Please see this TurboTax FAQ for more information: https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/return-status/help/what-does-pending-mean/00/26331.
