A "Pending" status on your TurboTax return means your return has been transmitted but not yet accepted or rejected by the IRS. This does typically take about 24-48 hours. However, high volume or early filing can cause it to take to several days. It does not indicate that there is an error. It just means that the IRS is processing the transmission.
