The tax owed are fully due and payable when you file your tax return or you can file the return without a payment if you are going to have a payment plan.

You can set up a payment plan for the federal taxes owed.  Go to this IRS website for an online payment plan application - https://www.irs.gov/payments/online-payment-agreement-application

 

 

Yes, taxes can be paid in quarterly installments: Estimated taxes.

When you file your return, any balance due on the return is due ay April 15.
