PA Schedule D TP

I've noticed a few people asking the same question.

 

My Federal and State PA returns are ready to be filed (using Windows Desktop Version).  I go to transmit them and I get met with an error (attached as picture).

I've manually done the math and the calculations seem to be correct.  I go to update as instructed... and am told there are no updates.  I then get stuck in a constant loop of this error and checking for updates as instructed.  This seems to be an error with the program and would be appreciative if someone has found a solution to get past this.  It really seems to be a problem with the Pennsylvania return section exclusively.

I apprieciate the suggestion but I have tried contacting directly multiple times already.  Both times I was told they couldn't help me.  Both individuals said they were not familiar with the desktop version of the product.  Which wasn't very helpful.  During my second attempt, the person assisting me tried to convince me that it required a tax professional to solve (which absolutely not the case since it is clearly an issue with TurboTax updates).  They tried to up sell me on my current TurboTax to accomplish this.  And then hung up on me when I articulated why that could not possibly be the solution.  If someone on the support side could please look into this issue I would appreciate it.

My case number is 1489716540.

 

Please update me as to when this issue is fixed so I can file my PA State returns.

We are having the same issue and are stuck and cannot file.

 

On this availability page, I cannot find the "TP" version of Schedule D, maybe that has something to do with it.

I do see these 2 other ones...

  • Schedule D (PA-40 D) (SP), Sale, Exchange, or Disposition of Property (SP)

I am having the exact same problem. Have update turbo tax online about 15 times and recieve notice that my file is upto date.  Nobody at Turbo Tax on line wants to give a straight answer. It certainly appears to be a Turbo Tax issue.  The only resolution I see is to file manually and attach all my tax back information manually.  Have been using Turbo Tax for over 20 years and this maybe my last.
