I did submit verification code. Can you tell me if everything was completed with verification code and was electronically sent? Everything went along smoothly until you we came to verification code. Thank you I appreciate your help.

This is a public forum and we are unable to view your TurboTax account. However, if you are unsure if you successfully e-filed your tax return you can check in TurboTax to see your current status to ensure they were transmitted properly You'll find it in Tax Home after sign in. Please see this TurboTax FAQ for more information: https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/return-status/help/how-do-i-check-my-e-file-status/00/25538.

 

If your tax return was not successfully transmitted It can take up to 15 minutes for the verification code to be emailed to you, and check your junk email folders too. Please don’t try to get a new code too soon as it will invalidate the old code and you’ll end up waiting longer. I am not getting e-mail verification code.   I received receipt from Turbotax but am not able to get verification code.   Unable to file taxes.  Totally frustrating.

The codes expire after about 10 minutes so you may have gotten it too late, but you can request another one.  Hopefully, you will get it quicker.  And make sure you use the most recent one as it is easy to mix them up once you have more than one.     @hblb2237

@mmc401 Have you checked your spam/junk folder?  If your email isn’t there, there may be a delay with your email provider. Contact them to find out what to do to remove the delay.

Unable to get email verification code;  have tried everything, including looking at my mail server, tried resetting security and turning 2 factor authentication on to get code sent to phone (don't believe this, it doesn't magically work)  - , changing email address which is a disaster, turbotax then tried to make me start over!  

Incredibly poor function to this service.   first time, and last time, turbotax user;  Should have stuck with tax act 

since taxes due today, I may go back to tax act and dispute the Credit card charge, because this issue tonight is a full-on breach of contract
