Not being able to e file.

I am having the same problem and never had this before when using the Home and Business program. I tried to e file and the program said I had to file form 7205 because of a "Energy Efficient Building deduction" which I don't. As another member suggested, I went back and deleted the zero on that particular question but the program still tells me that I can't e file because certain forms are needed which can't be e filed but it won't tell me which ones. I wish someone from Turbo Tax who we pay big bucks to for our programs would chime in and help us ! We shouldn't have to be struggling like this !

Try deleting any forms or worksheets related to this if it is not a form you need.

  1. On the menu bar on the left that shows.

  1. Select Tax Tools
  2. On the drop-down select Tools
  3. On the Pop-Up menu select Delete a Form
  4. This will give you all of the forms in your return
  5. Scroll down to the form you want to delete
  6. Select the Form
  7. Click on Delete

Always use extreme caution when deleting information from your tax return.  There could be unintended consequences.

Apparently there is a Turbo Tax update which didn't appear on my Mac computer till I resorted to shutting it down and restarting it. When I opened TT, an update appeared which I installed and the Form 7205 malarky disappeared and I as able to e file.
