no verification email

I don't get the verification sent to my email

First make sure it's not ending up in your email's spam/junk folder.    So check there.

If that's not it, then you may be able to verify it in your Intuit Account settings.  Or if you want to change your notification email address, you can also do it there.

 

 

  • In the left menu column scroll way down to the tab Intuit Account.
  • Then once in the account settings choose tab Sign In & Security.
  • See if your email address has a tiny link beside it that says "not verified".  If so, click that to verify.
  • Perhaps once you verify it there in the account settings, it won't ask you to verify it again when you are efiling.
  • Or if you want to change your notification email address, you can do it while you're there, then verify it.

I assume you are referring to a verification email that your taxes have been successfully filed. You can log back into TurboTax and check your filing status directly. It should show “Accepted,” “Rejected,” or “Pending” in your Tax Home.
