Why do you think you deserve a refund for 8 years of filing ?  Fees that you knew about, agreed to pay and did pay ?

The only truly free filing (if you qualify) is thru one of the IRS FREE FILE options you can get to here :  https://www.irs.gov/filing/free-file-do-your-federal-taxes-for-free

I’m entitled to it because it’s the settlement that THEY agreed to. Looking for answers not critics, but thank you kindly for your opinion.

You are posting on a user to user discussion forum, so all we know is what we've seen in the news.  This is not a direct line to TT Support.

The settlement is only for tax years 2016 thru 2018 if you started the tax return with the TurboTax Free edition.  You will receive notices and a check in the mail if you are eligible.

Yes ... read the article here :   https://www.nytimes.com/2022/05/04/business/turbotax-intuit-settlement.html

The settlement will affect 4.4 million customers eligible for the I.R.S. Free File program who were maneuvered to use TurboTax’s free edition in the tax years 2016 through 2018. Customers will be notified automatically and sent checks amounting to roughly $30 for each year that they were compelled to pay for TurboTax.
