Moving

Hi,
I was wondering what moving expenses can I write off?  I am moving from California to Arizona and will be getting an air bnb to stay in for a month so that we can look for an apartment.  Will I be able to deduct the cost of the Airbnb?  Also I will be getting a storage in Arizona to hold our household goods.  Is that tax deductible?  Are meals tax deductible?  What parts of a move is not tax deductible?

Under the tax reform law that was passed in 2017, there is no tax deduction for any moving expenses for 2018 through 2025 unless you are active duty military and moving in connection with a permanent change of station.

Congratulations on your move!  Since the changes in 2017, only active-duty military would be able to deduct their moving expenses.  Here's a link with more information:
