MN efile rejected error

I checked turbotax on 1-28-25 and it stated that the MN forms I needed were available. TT allowed me to efile successfully. My MN return was rejected with some bizarre error. When I login, it says a fix will be added on 1-30-25 and to update and try again. WTH, TT? Anyone else get this rejection error? I've used Turbotax for years and have never had issues with efiling or forms not being available.  Annoying.

The error you got is due to updates to forms that affected some Minnesota returns.  As you mentioned, there'll be an update available on January 30, 2025. If you are using TurboTax Online the update will be done automatically.  If you use a Desktop version of TurboTax, you will need to do a manual update

 

You will need to go back to your state return, ensure that all the information is still accurate, make any changes as needed, and re-submit your tax return.
