Misc Income unclear

I'm using Turbotax Deluxe Desktop for Windows. Under the less common income section, there is the final line: Misc Income, 1099-A, 1099-C Learn More with an amount in this years field. When I click on the amount, it says Other Wages $6212. I'm in ministry and I do receive MHA. I had overestimated it by about $5400, so I saw TT adjust my salary upward to compensate but that is still off by $800. My wife worked as a freelance writer and made $961. So I"m baffled at what this other wages is. I've tried to go through the Visit All guide to figure it out but it still doesn't tell me how it came up with that number. That field was 0 the year prior. I don't have any of the other forms suggested 1099-A or C. Is there a way for TT to show me what this number is and how it's being calculated?

In FORMS mode, are you able to view the form Wages, etc. Wks?

If the income item that you are looking for is reported as wages, you should find the item there.

Right click the item and click on 'Data source'.  This may help you locate the entry.

You can look on your schedule 1, Part 1 to see what is listed for Additional Income on your tax return. Line 8 would show the Other Income entries.

You can view your form 1040 and schedule 1 while working in the online version of TurboTax by following these steps:

While working on your return in the Federal section of TurboTax:

   1.  Choose the Tax Tools icon on your left menu bar

   2.  Tools

   3.  View Tax Summary

   4.  Choose the Preview my 1040 on your left menu bar

thank you for replying unfortunatley the tax summary screen in TT Deluxe Desktop for Windows doesn't have a preview 1040. The summary gives me a big picture of all the numbers but no way to see it and as well I don't see that Other Income amount anywhere on it.  I'm so baffled by it and I don't understand why TT just doesn't show you where the amount came from.

Also I looked at the schedule 1 and there is nothing here for the amount it's listing for other wages. It's so strange.

OK according to this form, this is a combination of my unused clergy housing with the money my wife earned freelance writing. It was under section 9b. not very clear but I understand it now. thank you for pointing me here.
