Manually Update not updated

If you go to Manually Update TurboTax for Windows Software (Basic, Deluxe, Premier, Home & Business)

@ https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/updating/help/manually-update-turbotax-for-windows-soft[product key removed]e-premier-home-business/00/26041

It still shows the download for [phone number removed]

This has not been updated in a while.

Can someone pass this along to whomever does the updating of the web page.

Also, I know this has said before there are Release Notes for any updates.

It would be helpful to get these back on line.

Thanks

Still stuck on R8....what's up?

Are they not providing Manual updates this year?

......or maybe they lost their programmers who know how to create an executable manual update?

Guess Turbo Tax is up to their same old tricks. last year the Release Notes go away (Important information) and this years it looks like the manual releases are following. Not good. Come on Turbo Tax, support your product for us users.

@SteamTrain

They were supposed to fix this, but there was no time frame provided.

Anyone pushing to get Manual Update up to the current version 18?

Still stuck on 15.1 from a couple weeks ago.

No one in charge in there this year at all?  BAH !

@SteamTrain Are you experiencing issues with the online update?

As @DoninGA mentioned, nothing we say appears to get much attention.

Nahhhh...I'm good with the normal updates .

But I see someone every other day or so, that appears to need to run the manual upadate...and I won't point them to something that is 3-verions old.

It is a good what if something does go wrong or if you delete TurboTax in the future and it does not update when you have reinstall it.

Sometimes using the manual update does have the installation problem that the download versions might have.

Not sure how far back TurboTax servers keep previous versions.

I was curious so I checked of the other software competitors and they have manual updates for Fed and individual states. (Hope statement doesn't ban me.)

@TiffanyL

Thanks for your response.

Note: Just in case if I ever had to reinstall lets says TT 2015 I have the last update for that release.

Just an example

Everything posted has been nothing but respectful.

Just pointing out what has not been updated.

Also note that the web page that show current version has not been updated either.

See

TurboTax also removed Release Notes a number of years ago.

So now we are back to posting no manual releases. What is so hard - us users just want to be able to download manual updates - the current one!

@cu38ad69akm3b5

Apparently, some of the Helpers in here have been complaining to the Moderators about this too .

For some reason it's still stuck on rev 15.1 with no one assigned to change it promptly.

I'll be thrilled if they just get it updated with this week's version by Friday...last week's update had a major bug I wouldn't want to let anyone use.....and the critical form 8915-E is in this next one.

Well it looks like they updated the Manual Update page.

It now shows R18.1.

The page for Version Verification also was updated.

I did find this post and the Community Manager at that time said it was "making a comeback".

https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/taxes/discussion/where-can-i-see-the-detail-for-the-release-notes-of-turbo-tax-the-more-details-links-do-not-work-and/00/1287155

There is a link that post and it takes you to

https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/using-turbotax/help/turbotax-release-notes-for-windows-personal-tax-software/01/26799

But there are NO Release Notes (list of fixes, additions or deletions)
