Llc live in a different state

I started a PLLC in NH but live in Maine. Am I now going to pay both Maine and NH business taxes? Can I still pay through my personal taxes since I’m 1099 and the only employee? Is there a benefit to register my llc in Maine instead?

Your LLC income will flow through to your personal income tax return which is filed in Maine. Your PLLC is a pass-through entity that does not pay income taxes, since all of that income passes through to you, personally.

You will be responsible for an annual report with the Secretary of State in Maine to keep your PLLC active.

I hope this is helpful to you.
