lidb command

I was trying to enter something when the window showed up that

the "lidb" command requires the command line developer tools.  Would you like to install the tool now?   

have seen this before and every response led to TT shutting down - never to be usable on this computer again.  And I was unable to reinstall.   How do I proceed without it shutting down?

There is something wrong with your TurboTax software or with that computer.  TurboTax does not require you to install developer tools.


Uninstall TurboTax and install it again, but do not use the same CD or download that caused this to happen.  Get a new CD or download.

Here is information on getting a refund for your current product.

Resetting that computer to factory settings may be the only way to resolve this.
