Legally separated questions

My husband and I legally separated in 2016. He became unemployed at 60 yrs old in 2018 and in 2019, he has had zero income, can't find a job. He has been living with me and I am supporting him so he is not homeless. I pay for everything, food, clothing, health insurance etc. Can I claim him as a dependent?

If you are legally separated by court order your former spouse is treated like any other individual so he can be claimed as a qualifying relative and so be your dependent if he lived with you all year, you supported him and he had no income as you posted.
