Last year AGI showing up incorrectly

I entered my last year’s AGI correctly and have checked it several times. But when I print a copy of my tax return to review it before filing. it continues to show up as a different number. Why is this happening and how can I fix it? I have gone back in and retyped it correctly, but the same issue persists.

Exactly where is it showing?  Because the 2023 AGI is only needed to verify your efile and doesn't show up anywhere on your 2024 return or paperwork.    Are you looking at 1040 line 11?  That is this year's 2024 AGI.

Last year’s AGI is showing up incorrectly on the Federal Carryover Worksheet page 2. This year’s looks correct, both on the 1040 line 11 and on the Federal Carryover Worksheet page. Any tips to fix this?

Well that comes from transferring 2023 into 2024 not from the AGI  you entered to efile.  Did you transfer from the wrong .tax2023 file or from the wrong online account?  Did you change your 2023 return or amend it?  Are you entering the AGI  from the original 2023 return?

It seems like TurboTax imported the information of my last year AGI incorrectly then. I’ve found other discussions where people report this to be a problem. I imported the correct 2023 tax return into TurboTax. I didn’t change or amend my tax return last year.

Not sure if removing the imported data will help now… thoughts? I’ve already completed every step except filing.

I have the same issue.

Even for me, the TurboTax desktop software imports incorrect value of last year's AGI even though the file it imports it from has the correct value. I also logged into the IRS website and confirmed the AGI is correct there for last year's return. The TurboTax software is now at the last step of this year's filing and it is using last year's incorrect AGI to throw prompts that prior year's filing may be incorrect.

Could someone from TurboTax please help out.

I found the exact same issue today... and it is off by a significant amount. I only saw the incorrect AGI after I filed. TurboTax needs to fix this issue and make sure our filings are corrected.
