Keep getting error message when trying to send a private message, please help

I'm trying to send a private message to one of your members, but after I compose the message, I get an error message saying:

Correct the highlighted errors and try again.

  • Your post has been changed because invalid HTML was found in the message body. The invalid HTML has been removed. Please review the message and send the message when you are satisfied.

There are no highlighted errors. No matter what I change in the text, I get this message. 

What should I do? Thanks

I just ignore the red error and hit post again.  But I do have trouble sending a PM  sometimes from my iPad if I put in a link or screenshot.  Can you try posting from a computer?

Hello again. I'm sending all messages from a computer, a MacBook Pro. I followed your suggestion and ignored the error messages and clicked Send on the PM a couple of times. Then I got message telling me that I reached my PM limit and to try again later. Is it possible that the PMs were being sent regardless of the error message? If so, poor Opus 17 might have half a dozen or more of the same message in his inbox!

I get that a lot when I try using my iPad.  My desktop Windows Computer usually works ok.  But right now I can't even log into my account using the Sign In button to get to my messages and notifications.  It is flakey.  I have to page someone from a regular post like this @psychopengy
