K1S Box 14 error

In form K1S Box 14 Foreign Transactions, in lines C, I, and J (Shareholder level foreign income and expense),  I get the error for Line 1: "Sch K-1 Wks-S Corporations (...) -- Sch K-1 S Corporation Additional Info 1: U.S. source gross income sourced at shareholder level plus foreign gross income sourced at shareholder level should not be greater than total gross income sourced at shareholder level".

I am able to enter the U.S. Source and Foreign Source for Gross income sourced at shareholder level, but I am unable to set the Total. Screenshot attached (data obfuscated).

I can resolve this error if I enter a zero for the US and Foreign Gross income sourced at shareholder level. However, I'm concerned that there is no value for Total, even though there are values in Part II, Section 1, line 24 in the Schedule K-3 I received from the S-Corporation.

Hello gglockner,

It appears from your screen print that you are using TurboTax Desktop version to complete your return.  I see you were also posting on this issue in another thread.

In your screen print it appears you are entering the numbers directly on the Form in Forms Mode.  Have you tried deleting the form and entering the information in the step by step interview mode?  When the information is entered for U.S. Source & Foreign, it should total the amount entered for Total Gross Income at Shareholder Level.  You may need to confirm with the person who prepared the K-3 and supporting schedules the amount of the Total Gross, U.S. Source & Foreign to make sure there were no errors on the K-3 and that the U.S. Source + Foreign Source total the Total Gross.

Yes, I am using TurboTax 2023 Premier Desktop for Mac. And yes, I started with the step-by-step interview; I switched to this form when Smart Check failed.
