I have a K-1 and Box 13 has a Code ZZ for retirement plan contributions. When I am using the Turbotax software (whether PC or online version), it asks me to write the amount in the worksheet and where I put it changes the refund amount. What category do I list the amount in on the worksheet? Choices are "Other Taxes" (which is where TT PC desktop wanted me to put it but doesn't seem to make sense to me), Other miscellaneous itemized deductions with 2% floor, penalty, section 754 depreciation, state income tax withheld, other nonpassive deduction , investment interest expense, or other (enter description). I am inclined to put it in the last category (other) and then describe what it was for. Can anyone confirm this is the proper way to do this?
