Is it true that desktop version of TT does NOT support cryptocurrency import?

I have purchased a desktop version of TT (which is more expensive than the online version!) I have read many of the posts trying to figure out how to import a CSV file of cryptocurrency transactions into it. It seems to me that the desktop version cannot be used to handle cryptocurrency. There is a suggestion for using the online version and then switching over to the desktop version once the cryptocurrency part is done....but this would mean that I would lose many hours of my work to this point and would have to start all over.

If my finding is correct, I would have to conclude that this is a terrible deficiency for TT.

Would someone please either confirm my conclusion or help me get past my issue?

Thanks

@MST2

You cannot upload from a zip file. If you are using TurboTax online you must have a CSV file to upload and if you are using TurboTax CD/Download, then you must have a TXF file.

The issue is with the DESKTOP version of TT not the online one. I have a CSV (not zipped), but there is no place on the DESKTOP version for handling cryptocurrency CSV files. If you find it on the DESKTOP version, please let me know....thanks

About the price.  Desktop should be better than Online.  Online you need Premier and state is an extra separate charge.  You can use a lower Desktop program as all the Desktop programs have the same forms. You just get more help and guidance in the higher versions.   And Deluxe and higher come with 1 free state program download although there is a fee to efile state but you can print and mail state for free.  And there are many other advantages in the Desktop program.  You can find the Desktop program in stores usually for less than directly from Turbo Tax.
