Is it correct that From 3922(2017) doesn't include ESPP sold in 2017?

I have ESPP which be acquired on Nov 15th,2016 and sold them on Feb 9th,2017.

However, I didn't find this transaction in 2017 Form 3922(not in 2017 form 3922 either).

Is that correct? Should I ask my employer to correct it?

Thank you.

Yes. Once you exercise and own shares of stock, your employer may not know when you sold the stock. Stock sales are usually reported on Form 1099-B by the brokerage.

Corporations file Form 3922 for each transfer of the legal title of a share of stock acquired by the employee pursuant to the employee's exercise of an option granted under an employee stock purchase plan and described in section 423(c) (where the exercise price is less than 100% of the value of the stock on the date of grant, or is not fixed or determinable on the date of grant).

Does that mean, I need to use other (supplemental) documents to report/adjust my ESPP sales if it is not in Form 3922? Thank you.

Yes. Stock sales are usually reported on Form 1099-B. I added some links to my answer.
