Is 1040 SR new for 2020?

in recent years TurboTax has generated multi pages of Form 8949.....this year only 1 page.  Is that correct?

The 1040SR was new for 2019.   It is identical to the Form 1040 except for bigger print.  The line numbers are the same and the calculations are done exactly the same way.   If you were 65 or older at the end of 2020 the software uses a 1040SR for you.

your Form(s) 8949 depend on what categories you are reporting.

Some users have reported TurboTax not filling 8949 correctly.
