IRS VRIPA Program

My W-2 as a volunteer first responder has 0.00 in box 1 and 2 because my earnings from them were less than $600.  The VRIPA program allows for up to $600 be exempted from federal tax, so the W-2 was created and shows 0 for income but a little over 500 for SS income and medicare income (because I still pay tax on those programs).  Turbo Tax apparently doesn't like the 0 in box 1 and 2, and is forcing me to paper-file.  Any work-arounds or am I stuck with paper-filing this return?

Since you can't file with a zero, I recommend  in box 1, you change the zero to one. This forces the program to recognize the form. Box 2 should go through with the zero. If it still sticks, make it $1. $1 will not affect your tax liability and being able to e-file is worth it.
