My issue was system errors with the msvc…..and then the vc one … sorry I didn’t write them down just going from memory. After hours and hours and trying different computers (I didn’t know until I tried installing it using another computer) and different things like searching sites and researching the questions on turbo tax… here’s what worked for me and I hope this saves someone somewhere some time.
I followed the steps I found here to update the environment as is posted. I had tried installing chrome earlier with no luck.
that didn’t work right away so I did the update that was recommend on the post and updated the c++reserve learn Microsoft thing link posted.
Then I rebooted and it worked. I don’t know what or why but it’s working.
