Inserted Turbo Tax 2017 into disk player on HP computer, nothing appearing on computer screen although indicator shows that disc is being read.

Make surer the computer you have has enough drive to download the TT CD. I ended up having to buy another computer. you could try downloading it from the computer instead of the CD.

I have inserted Turbo Tax 2019 but nothing appears in the screen, even thought has been read in the hard drive

What do you mean it has been read in the hard drive?  Once you install the CD you need to take it out and you don't need it in the drive anymore.  

What Windows do you have?  Does it read other CDs?
