Inheritance

I inherited a house full of furniture, clothes, dishes, ext. and I donated most of the assets to Goodwill, Red Cross, and other charitable organizations. How do I inter the donations in turbo tax? I used the FMV pricing formulas  from turbo tax to determine the value of the items which comes to over $10k.

If you are using the desktop version of TT, look under the personal tab, then click Deductions and Credits on the line under the tabs.

Once you see all the sections listed, look for the section "Charitable Donations"

Click on start by the line "Donations to Charity 2022"

 

Alternatively, use the magnifying glass in the upper right to search.

Search for  the word "Donations" then choose the topic that fits your question.
