contact the issuer. there may be some special way you have to do it. which would differ from simply logging into website

I am having the same problem with Turbotax Premier 2021 when trying to import 1099 from TD Ameritrade and Charles Schwab (both are "partners"). How do I resolve this?

There is a known issue regarding importing Charles Schwab 1099 that is being worked on. Please see this thread for a workaround that has shown to be successful for some users.
