Importing 2022 H&R Block

Bought 2023 TurboTax Premier and cannot import my 2022 H&R Block pdf file. I converted the H&R Block file to PDF and when I imported it it just said "import was unsuccessful". What do I do? I have a capital loss carry forward that I need to use for this year.

Are you using Windows or Mac?  If you are using Windows did you try transferring from the HR Block tax file (not the pdf)?  See

I am using Windows. I tried changing the original H&R Block .T22 file to a Turbo Tax .Tax2022 file. Turbo Tax found the file but could not read it. Same deal as PDF.

That link was useful. My return is a 1040SR which apparently cannot be imported via PDF. However, Turbo Tax is supposed to be able to import the H&R Block tax data file (.T22) itself.  I just changed the .T22 suffix to the Turbo Tax version .Tax2022 when it didn't like .t22. No dice.

@Ray9991 a 1040SR is a no go as this link will confirm.  by  tax data file it's referring only to an actual Turbotax .tax2022 file

changing a file extension seldom works becuase the program is looking for a specific file format and evidently

.T22 and .Tax2022 have different formats.
