Import from eTrade - not working (account password issue)

I tried a few times to import 1099 files from eTrade but failed (I did it last year it's fine and I also checked that it's a "yes" on my eTrade account setting to share data). The error message I got is: "ETrade account password: minimum 1 and maximum 171 character". Obviously my password is within that range. Anyone met similar issue? Is there special characters that Turbotax does not like?

Appreciate any help.

Jim

@rona11 Are you still having an issue with your import?

Hi Kristina, thanks for asking. I just tried again and still can't connected to eTrade. Same error message, saying my password needs to be minimum 1 character ....  Wondering if anyone else is experiencing same issue.

@rona11 Are you able to log into your ETrade account using the same credentials outside TurboTax? In other words, logging in on the ETrade's website?
