I need to do a 1041 return on a Mac. What version do I need

You would need the TurboTax Business Edition to complete a Form 1041 U.S. Income Tax Return for Estates and Trusts

However, the Business Edition can only be installed on a personal computer that supports the Windows operating system, not on a MAC OS or online.

Most likely a marketing decision based on potential sales versus cost of development and programming.

 

I believe some people have been able to run the Windows version on a Mac in an emulator program like Parallels.
