The software is holding me up because of insurance 1095A -marketplace insurance. I do not have marketplace insurance. I was covered by Medicaid. Medicaid has a form 1095C. So why can I not fill my return? Why is it making the assumption I had market place insurance?
Form 1095-C, Health Coverage, is used to report the type of health coverage you had, dependents covered by your insurance, and how many months you had coverage for in 2019 to the IRS.
TurboTax will ask you questions about your health coverage but your 1095-C is not needed. Just keep the form in your files. You do not need the form to file your tax return. If you've already filed and then receive the form, you do not need to amend your return.
