If you e-filed your tax return, the e-file pin that you used at the end of your return counts as an electronic signature. You are not required to do anything else.
If you mailed your tax return without a signature, the mailed tax return would be returned to the address shown on the return. You can simply sign the tax return and mail it back to the IRS.
Did you file with TurboTax last year? If so, it would have transferred over automatically. In addition, has your tax return been accepted? If so your electronic signature was successfully received by the IRS.
I was getting ready to efile my return and thought I would review it first and noticed it was NOT signed, no did it show my pin either. Why didn't it flag at end stating it needed to be signed with pin number? I would have been very upset if I went ahead and efiled and then not acccepted! I have another problem too and would like to take advantage of the live support on phone, but of course cannot find the number! Please help, this was supposed to be one of the perks for using Turbotax.
Can you please clarify your question, what is the message displayed when you try to complete your return?
