HSA

I am getting a message stating that my HSA is over funded.  But it's not.  So it's charging me interest on what it thinks is over funded.  Why?

Your HSA is normally listed on your W-2 in box 12 with a "W" code.

If you also entered a 1099-SA for money you withdrew from the HSA there will be a set of follow-up questions.

One is: Let's enter XXXX HSA contributions.

Unless you took additional money above what was on your W-2, this should be left as a zero.  This is an area where there is a frequent error.
