My old notes say....
You can only import a K-1 to the Desktop CD/Download Software, not to Online version and if you can get a .txf file for it and in the right format. Apparently you can only import K-1s for MLPs and not Trusts or Estates. You can not import a K-1 from Turbo Tax Business Program.
I have CD version. How to import? I don't area which says import K1?

Does any one know if Energy Transfer offer import option. I don't see it.
In import I do see 2 issues.
Lets say I have K1 from same entity last year, NOW it make 2nd k1 for this year (no big issue) But then it does NOT import carry over losses or gains from K1 of last year.
even if the partnership provides a TXF file that is needed to import, I wouldn't use it. (personally even if offered i don't import K-1's). some nonstandard items are often reported in box 20 and in supplemental schedules. many Turbotax can not properly reflect in your return - you have the responsibility for seeing to it that they are.
