How to delete a document I uploaded?

I uploaded my FY 2020 Form 1040 hoping to import my previous year's tax return (that I filed through 3rd party). I uploaded the form from Documents section in TurboTax.

I don't see the return was imported, and more importantly I can't find that document anywhere! Where can I see the document, and delete it if I want?

Note, I am currently in the middle of preparing my 2021 tax return, and I can see automatically generated documents under Tax Tools for 2021 return. But I am searching the 2020 form 1040 I uploaded.

Thanks,

I don't think it shows the actual form anywhere, if you uploaded it into your 2021 taxes.

The outside PDF you uploaded from 2020 will upload almost nothing into 2021 anyhow.  Names and SSN's and supposedly, last year's AGI will come in  (mailing address & telephone number too).  BUT...No carryover's, no itemized deductions values, no depreciation for rental properties, or capital equipment for self-employed people, no amortized points on Home refi's...nothing else.

Of course, perhaps an actual TTX employee/moderator/CHAMP will enlighten me as to what the PDF uploads can/cannot do now.  I know they were "trying" to start getting in more from PDF files, but have yet to see any clear updates as to what the prior year PDF upload can do now.

Thanks! I am wondering what's the point then. This is my first time using turbotax, so I am not familiar with all the parts.

Thanks for your answer!

Many of us have been asking eh same question for years now.

It could be that they have the start of something useful, but just don't have the staff to follow thru with the extra details yet.   (Blame it on COVID?  😉

On a flyer, I tried starting a new desktop tax file, transferring in my PDF from last year's TTX.

Name, Address, SSN, occupation, telephone number, last year's AGI.   No Birthdate since that isn't shown on the actual PDF file, so you have to enter that when you start up the new file.

I don't see anything else digging thru the various pages (so far).  Nor anything special on the carryover worksheet (like how much I paid to the state as a balance due last year).

Just last year's AGI to use to efile this year if I don't use a PIN.
