How to change filing status

I haven't sent anything off and I can't amend anything because it says I haven't filed yet but I also can't clear and start over because it says I've already registered it but I have single selected but it's asking for a spouses ssn and I can't find where to change whatever I pressed to make it do that

You should be able to fix your issue in the Personal Info section of TurboTax;

 

  1. Log in to your TurboTax Online account, or open your TurboTax desktop program,
  2. Click Take me to my return.
  3. Click on Personal Info.
  4. Under Personal Info Summary, find your filing status/marital status under your name.
  5. Click to edit and then choose Single.

Sometimes a full or corrupted cache can cause problems in TurboTax. If you are still not able to fix your issue, log out of your account, then clear your Cache.

Thank you for replying and I've already got single selected I'm pretty sure it's something  further down the line where it asks you again how you're filing

Please follow the instructions here to clear your cache as well as delete the cookies
