how to answer interview question for 1099Q box 6

The interview question in turboxtax box 6 is absolutely confusing:

 

"Box 6: Is the recipient of the distribution the designated beneficiary?

Recipient is not designated beneficiary

Yes

No"

 

Is the Yes/No answer to the first sentence or the second, which is opposite of the first sentence?

Really bad interview question.  If TT second sentence was "Recipient is the designated beneficiary" it would be clear the sentences dont contradict each other"

Your best option is to answer the first question, "Is the recipient the beneficiary" using the Yes/No buttons. Ignore the second line.

wrong!  Answer the second question. I found out by trial and error.  Pressed yes and looked at the forms.  Pressed no and looked at the forms. Only made sense answering the second question.  Talk about confusing!
