How long does it take for the IRS to finalize documents?

I have already paid to file my taxes with you guys but my account has been stating, "The IRS has not finalized one or more of your documents" for two weeks now.  Is this normal?  Is there anything I can do to expedite this process?

If you are affected by the earned income tax credit (EITC) or the additional child tax credit (ACTC), because of a new tax law to reduce fraud, the IRS is restricted from processing refunds for returns with these credits before February 15th and they say you will probably not receive the refund until February 27th.

If this is not something on your return, you can check your status by using this link: Let Us Help You - IRS

If the return hasn't been fully processed it may also be that there are forms the IRS is not yet ready to receive and/or process.  You can continue to use the status link above and continue to check while logged into your TurboTax account.

You can't file until the forms are ready,  when you go through the Review tab it should tell you which forms.  And even if Turbo Tax lets you submit your return they will just hold it until the IRS opens filing on Jan 27, 2021 or later.  So there's no hurry.  Most people who file early have to amend later.  Have you got all your W2 and any 1099s yet?
