How do I snapshot

To Snap a photo of W-2. Follow these instructions.

Here's how to take a picture of your W-2 the TurboTax mobile app:

1. Sign in to the app (if you're not already signed in) and navigate to the W-2 photo screen:
   1. Tap the upper-left corner to open the side navigation bar.
   2. Tap Wages & Income (under Federal).
   3. Select the option to work on your W-2.
   4. Keep swiping until you reach the OK, how would you like to enter your W-2? screen.
2. Tap Snap a photo of my W-2.
3. Follow the instructions to optimize the image. When fully optimized, TurboTax will automatically snap the picture for you.
   • Note: This picture won't be saved on your device, nor in your TurboTax account.
4. Continue following any instructions to upload your W-2.

Literally none of those instructions are on my app. I just want to file my W-2

Tried to snap picture of taxes but it does nothing 

You can import your W-2 into the TurboTax mobile app by taking a picture of it. Here’s how:

1. Open the app and select Wages & Income. Tap the button.
2. Select Job (W-2) and select Continue on the Let's start with some info from this W-2 screen.
3. When you see the How do you want to enter your W-2? screen, tap Snap a photo and then Continue.
4. If asked, give permission to TurboTax to access your camera.
5. Helpful tips might appear before you see the option to select Now let's snap a photo.
   • Note: Although TurboTax will use your device's camera, the W-2 picture won't be saved with your other device pictures, nor in your TurboTax account.
6. TurboTax should then automatically import your information, or direct you to type it in if there’s a problem.
