I have several TurboTax bugs that are preventing me from filing my S-Corp Business Return? How do I report these bugs so that they get some attention and get fixed? I have posted them in this forum, but that doesn't seem to be getting the bugs resolved.
Bugs are reported to the Administrators who, in turn, report them to the developers.
You can report the items that are preventing you from e-filing your return here in Community. Experts and other users can look into the issue and provide you help in how to resolve it and file your return. If it turns out the issue appears to be an actual problem with the program, it will be passed for further investigation and resolution.
That’s disappointing that there is not a more transparent and open way of reporting and tracking bugs.
I’ve reported 2-3 things that I consider to be bugs, but I have no idea as to (1) whether it has been accepted as a bug, (2) whether there is any commitment to fix it, and (3) any idea of when it might be fixed.
How do I report with Turbo Tax Home and Business to an administrator? I have used Turbotax for years without a problem until today. Mishandles my California State Employees Retirement System entry; asks about a Canadian retirement account I have never had; does not ask about Minimum Annual Distribution where it should, and when I wouldn't download California software destroyed all my federal input. A travesty!
