Here's how you can start over in either the same or a new Online product you choose, as long as you haven't paid for TurboTax Online.

I have paid for TurboTax Online - How can I erase and start over?  Please don't tell me there is not a way because there is an error in Form 2787 and it won't let me correct it, won't let me modify it, and won't let me delete it.  I am stuck - paid my $$$ for the software and I CAN NOT file with these errors.

1. If you haven't already done so, sign in at TurboTax.com
2. On the welcome back screen, in the left-side menu, select Tax Tools, and then select Clear & Start Over (click or tap the 3 lines in the upper-left corner if you don't see this menu).
3. Answer Yes in the pop-up to confirm.
4. After your entries have been cleared out, we'll prompt you to select a TurboTax product so you can start over from the very beginning.

I have done the payment. But I need to start over because I incorrectly included a state in the returns which needs to be removed now. I spent 1hr 42 mins with the service representative but she can’t help me start over or issue a full refund.

Unfortunately, once you have made the payment you cannot erase and start over.

Are you kidding? Does this mean that if we have already paid and can't start over to make the necessary corrections that the only option is to abandon TurboTax and use another company's software?

Thank you. I was on the phone with someone today, and it seems there may be some bugs in the software causing my issues. They're looking into it.

How to delete my information on turbotax? I took my tax info to someone else to efile and they use turbotax software.so when they efiled it. A rejection code 517-01 was sent.  I don't want to start over just erase.

I dont want to start over. Since I took it to someone else to efile I was just gonna use that and delete the one that I started on turbotax.

You don't have to start over; however, the Clear and Start Over feature will allow you to clear out your tax return (as long as you haven't registered or paid your TurboTax fees).

It was free.  I did not pay for ANYTHING
