Rather than override it, cancel the override and follow these steps.
Return to the original transaction. After entering the initial information, continue through the rest of the screens.
- At Select any less common adjustments that apply, select Some (or all) of the proceeds for this sale do not belong to me.
- Enter the adjustment to gain or loss.
This will properly adjust the cost information initially entered as needed. Go to Forms Mode to view your results.
