How do i find an order number

If you purchased your product directly from us, you can look up your TurboTax order here or look through your inbox for an email with the subject line Your TurboTax Payment Confirmation (or similar).

If you used TurboTax Online last year, you can find your order number by doing this:

  1. Sign in using last year's login (if you're not already signed in).
  2. Go to your Tax Home, if you're not already on it, by selecting Tax Home from the left menu (on mobile devices, tap in the upper left corner to open the menu).
  3. Select Show to expand Your Tax Returns and Documents, and then select View order details.
  4. Once you have your order number, look up the details here.

If you aren't seeing anything, you may be signed in with a different user ID than last year. To find all your TurboTax account logins, go here and follow the instructions.

Another possibility is that you paid last year's fees out of your federal refund with the Refund Processing service. In that case, those fees may not appear in your account.

Which link does not work?

This is link - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/order-status/

Or this link -

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show.  Click on the Year and Click on View order details

You can't search for your order number unless you have the order number. The email confirmation they sent me has no order number on it but you did take the $70.

Exactly! It's sketchy to charge people for an order and not provide an order number... I did get a license number, but that isn't what you're looking for. I don't have the order on the charge to my card and I don't have it on my order history on the account. Where is it?

I don't need troubleshooting. I need my order number to request a refund and can't find it anywhere.

Did you look in your advantage account ?

First, here's to stop your Advantage membership (annual subscription):

https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1901052-how-do-i-cancel-my-turbotax-advantage-subscription

And here's an online refund request form.  Submit it within 60 days of having received your product.

https://support.turbotax.intuit.com/forms/refund-request.jsp

If you have any problems with the refund form, here's how to reach TurboTax Support by phone:

If you are an Advantage member, log into your Advantage account and scroll down past the FAQ links.  Near the bottom of the page you should find a special Advantage phone number to directly contact Customer Support.

If you are not an Advantage member, use the form at the link below to schedule a call back, or it may provide a number.  Hours are 5AM-9PM Pacific (8AM-12 Midnight Eastern) 7 days/week.

Thank you. I've already looked around the Advantage profile. In order to look at my order, I need the order number. That's where my frustration is coming from. Under downloads, I can see the license, but there is no order number. Just a license number.

I received 3 emails and none of them had the order number. The only number provided is the install number.
