I paid for software but it won't efile. It's stuck asking for a phone number and won't let me continue. I've read the help and keep getting angrier and angrier because this is stupid. I'm about to call the credit card company and have the charge reversed. I've been on hold with customer service for over 2 hours.

I had the same problem, i finally created new account and it retrieved last years return when needed. I tried the help section too, and finally found i could add as a new user. Hope it works for you,

If TurboTax is asking for a phone number right at the end of the File section, it's so they can text you updates about your return status.
This doesn't go on your tax return anywhere.
You may be able to Continue without entering it.

The whole point is that I cannot continue to efile until TurboTax can verify a phone number. I would not have used AND PAID FOR TurboTax if I had known this. I've already paid and now I cannot efile. I'm mad and getting my money back. I've wasted SO much time!
